Magang sees stable crude steel production in 2017
Eastern China’s Ma’anshan Iron & Steel (Magang) earned CNY 1.23 billion ($177.89 million) in net profits attributable to shareholders in 2016, reversing a CNY 4.8 billion loss in 2015. In 2017 it plans to produce 18.22 million tonnes of iron and 19.17mt of crude steel, a slight increase from last year, Kallanish notes.
