Magang operates No.2 coke oven
China's Ma'anshan Iron & Steel (Magang) has commissioned its new No.2 coke oven and will see the first production this week.
The steelmaker's coking project, started in 2019, includes two 7-metre coking batteries, Kallanish notes. It will utilise coke dry quenching techniques in production.
