Magang to commission heavy H-beam mill
On 18 August Ma'anshan Iron & Steel (Magang) began installing its heavy H beam steel mill project. It aims to complete the project by the end of this year, Kallanish notes.
The capacity is estimated to be 800,000 tonnes/year. Besides H beams the production line can also produce other profiles and angles. It is designed to satisfy demand from construction, bridges, railways, the marine sector and electric power.
