Lysaght’s Q1 profit up on higher revenue
Malaysian steel products manufacturer Lysaght Steel has posted higher profit in the first quarter ended 31 March 2024 on higher revenue, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a bourse filing that it recorded a net profit of MYR 3.59 million ($765,000) in the first quarter, up 33.62% from MYR 2.7m a year ago.
The firm’s revenue for the quarter also increased by 31.34% to MYR 22.48m from MYR 16.99m a year earlier.
