Danieli bags Luzhou Xinyang rebar mill contract
Italian steel industry technology supplier Danieli has announced that it will supply a 1.4 million tonnes/year rebar mill to Luzhou Xinyang Steel, Kallanish notes.
The high-speed bar mill, currently in the engineering phase, is expected to produce 1.4m t/y of rebar products with diameters of 12-40mm in grades HRB 400E and HRB 500E. Starting with 165mm diameter billets weighing up to 2,500kg, the new mill will run at speeds of up to 240 ton…
