Luoyuan Minguang starts converter construction
Luoyuan Minguang Steel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China-listed Fujian Sangang Minguang Group, started the construction of its new converter last week.
The steelmaker plans to dismantle two 50-tonne converters and to build one 110t converter, Kallanish notes. MCC CERI is the EPC contractor of this project, which is part of Sangang Minguang Group's wider equipment upgrade project.
