Luoyang Steel transfers EAF capacity quota to Jinshenglan
China's Luoyang Iron & Steel in Henan Province has reissued its plan to transfer capacity quotas to Jinshenglan Group for its electric arc furnace steel project in Yunfu, Guandong Province.
According to the new version of capacity replacement requirements, the transfer of capacity between EAF projects is 1:1, meaning Jinshenglan will be able to commission as much capacity as Luoyang closes, Kallanish notes.
