Lu'an Steel hot tests No.1 converter
Anhui Lu'an Iron & Steel successfully hot tested its No.1 190-tonne converter in early December, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker has updated the construction plan for its steelmaking sector. The volume of the converters was changed from the originally-planned 135t to 190t, and two additional converters are to be built in the second phase of the plant.
