Lower prices reduce South32's South Africa manganese output
South32’s South Africa Manganese operation increased attributable manganese ore sales 1% on-year in the December quarter to 529,000 wet metric tons. The unit’s fiscal-year-through-June-2020 production guidance remains unchanged at 2.1 million wmt.
In the half-year through December sales rose 6% on-year to 1.07m wmt.
