Lower Egypt/UAE demand reduces Turkey's January rebar exports
Turkish rebar exports fell -5% year-on-year in January on a slump in shipments to Egypt and the UAE, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical institute (TUIK) data.
January's rebar exports from Turkey came in at 589,907 tonnes and their total average value/tonne rose to $429/t from 329/t a year ago.
