Longsheng Steel suspends production
Shandong Longsheng Iron & Steel has stopped production across all its facilities. It is currently giving employees indefinite leave without termination, Kallanish notes.
According to Rizhao Steel’s capacity replacement plans, it has purchased all of Longsheng’s capacity quotas, including 1.51 million tonnes/year of iron and 1.8m t/y of steel (see Kallanish passim).
