Longs exports drive AMSA September quarter sales growth

ArcelorMittal South Africa (AMSA) reported a 13% on-year increase in overall steel sales in the quarter through September to 1.17 million tonnes. This was driven by a 32% surge in exports to 380,000t due to greater long product availability following the completion of the Newcastle blast furnace reline, Kallanish learns from the firm.
