Longs drive up NLMK's Q2 sales
NLMK’s consolidated steel sales grew 13% on-quarter in the second quarter to 4.15 million tonnes, driven by a 98% surge in NLMK Russia Long division sales to 935,000t, Kallanish learns from the Russian steelmaker.
The Russia Long division sales growth was the result of a 277% surge in merchant billet sales to 226,000t, while rebar and wire rod deliveries grew 81% and 69% respectively to 536,000t and 93,000t.
