Longgang abandons ferroalloy furnace construction plan

Longmen Iron & Steel (Longgang), part of Shaanxi Steel Group, is seeking approval to abandon the construction of a 94-tonne ferroalloy furnace, and build a 135t electric arc furnace to realise steel capacity replacement instead.
