Higher utilisation, costlier scrap lift Turkish rebar quotes
Turkish mills have further increased rebar export quotes this week due to the rise seen in scrap prices and higher utilisation. On the other hand, demand in the global market continues to be livelier compared to domestic activity.
Turkish mills’ rebar export offers, which stood at $630-640/tonne fob last week, appeared on Thursday mostly at $645-655/t fob actual weight.
