Long-halted Wenshui Haiwei Steel resumes BF production
Northwest China's Shanxi Wenshui Haiwei Iron & Steel has confirmed to Kallanish that in early July the formerly-defunct steelmaker restarted one 1,230 cubic metre blast furnace and has recalled its former employees. According to national standards set by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, this implies 1.04 million-1.13 million tonnes/year of hot metal output.
