Lion Industries’ net loss narrows in third quarter
Malaysian steel maker Lion Industries has reported a lower net loss of MYR 66.23 million ($14.23m) in the third quarter, as compared to a net loss of MYR 161.59m a year ago, Kallanish notes.
The group says in a bourse filing that its revenue for the quarter, however, fell 20.59% to MYR 462.04m from MYR 591.85m a year earlier.
Over nine months, the group’s net loss also narrowed to MYR 137.15m from MYR 222.59m a year ago.
