Lion Industries losses widen in fourth quarter
Malaysian steelmaker Lion Industries has reported higher losses in the fourth quarter amid lower revenue, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a bourse filing that its net losses widened to MYR 268.72 million ($56.87m) in the fourth quarter from MYR 86.44m a year ago.
Its revenue for the quarter also fell 36.16% to MYR 435.37m from MYR 681.92m. The fall was due to lower steel selling prices and sales volume.
