Lion Industries' losses widen in first quarter

Malaysian steel maker Lion Industries has reported higher losses in the first quarter ended 31 March 2024 amid lower revenue, Kallanish notes. The firm says in a bourse filing that its net loss widened to MYR 38.62 million ($8.21m) in the first quarter from MYR 21.8m a year ago.
