US line pipe producers file trade case
The American Line Pipe Producers Association has filed a trade case against six foreign producers of large-diameter welded pipe, Kallanish reports.
The association claims that Canada, China, Greece, India, Korea and Turkey are dumping welded pipe into the US market at less than fair value (see table below). The association further claims that China, India, Korea and Turkey are receiving illegal government subsidies.
