Lighthizer moves closer to US Trade Rep confirmation
President Donald Trump’s pick for United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer has passed the Senate Finance Committee, putting him a step closer to confirmation, Kallanish reports.
Lighthizer will next go before the Senate at-large for his final confirmation. A hearing date has not yet been set.
