Liberty UK secures upfront payments, readies steelmaking restart
Liberty Steel UK is negotiating earlier cash payments with customers as it prepares to restart steelmaking next week, a spokesperson for parent GFG Alliance tells Kallanish. Some customers have already placed significant orders and paid upfront.
The firm declined to provide any further details on its steelmaking restart, other than it is due around 6 April.
