Liberty Ostrava receives hybrid steelmaking environmental approval
Liberty Ostrava has received Czech environment ministry approval for its plan to install two hybrid furnaces in place of its existing tandem furnaces by the end of 2022. This will reduce carbon emissions by more than -50% and particulate emissions by -66%, the steelmaker says.
