Liberty Ostrava eyes resolution after receiving emissions payment
Liberty Ostrava has already received the entire CZK 1.24 billion ($58.6 million) for the sale of excess carbon emissions allowances to sister company Liberty Galati.
The profit from this sale amounts to CZK 260m, of which CZK 134m has already been paid to employees as a reward for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the steelworks. The remainder will be used for investment projects.
