Liberty Magona to resume production
Liberty Steel’s Italian re-rolling plant, Magona, will resume production on 28 July, sources close to the company tell Kallanish.
The plant, however, will be idled again between 14 and 23 August. Magona has received 20,000 tonnes of hot rolled coil feedstock from Liberty Galati and bought 10,000t from traders, which will only give visibility on production until 23 August.
