Liberty Magona to return to full capacity
Liberty Steel’s Italy-based Magona unit is expected to work at full capacity in October, Kallanish learns from sources close to the company.
The plant is now operating the pickling line, rolling mill, galvanising line no.5 and coating line no.2. Galvanising line no.4 has also been restarted and coating line no.1 will start by the end of the month. Galvanising line no.2 has been idled for several years and needs a costly revamp.
