Liberty House targets Arrium with revised bid
The UK’s Liberty House has submitted a revised bid for Australian steel and mining firm Arrium, despite a rival South Korean bid being named as the preferred candidate. Liberty had hoped to add an Australian mill to its growing British steel business, but it will have to fight to outbid the promise of Korean investment and cost cutting.
