Liberty Group snaps up former Oyak ceo
Toker Ozcan has been appointed chief executive, Greensteel EMEA for Liberty Steel Group to help lead the transition to zero carbon steel. He will oversee operations in the UK, Poland and India, as well the group’s downstream operations in Europe.
Ozcan was previously ceo and chairman at Turkish steel giant Oyak Mining & Metallurgy, which owns Erdemir Group, from 2018-2021, Kallanish notes.
