Liberty continues HMRC talks following wind-up petitions
Liberty Steel says it is in continuous dialogue with HMRC to find an “amicable” solution after the UK customs authority filed wind-up petitions against four of the steel group’s subsidiaries for not paying taxes.
The units affected are Speciality Steel UK, Liberty Merchant Bar, Liberty Performance Steels and Liberty Pipes.
