Lech Stahlwerke to enter graphite electrode production
Lech-Stahlwerke (LSW), a bar mill owned by the Max Aicher group in Bavaria, intends to enter into the production of graphite electrodes at a production site it already owns.
The Aicher mill is located in Meitingen, wherein is also located a SGL Carbon group plant, which has only just left the graphite electrodes segment, selling it to Japanese group Showa Denko. That sale was announced one year ago, and by last month had received the relevant approvals of …
