Lebanese nine-month bar imports, scrap exports slump
Lebanese imports of bar under HS code heading 7214 slumped -37% on-year in September to 34,248 tonnes, according to Lebanese Customs data monitored by Kallanish. Imports in the nine months through September fell by the same rate to 314,330t. This gave a monthly average of 34,926t versus 53,753t in full-year 2018.
