Latin America keeps up demand for Turkish rebar
Turkish rebar producers are seen facing slower demand in the global market compared to previous weeks, though there is an inquiry from Peru.
A buyer in Peru is heard inquiring about 22,000 tonnes of Turkish rebar and is negotiating with Turkish mills. Although a mill in the Marmara region is heard to have closed sales at $640/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, this has not yet been confirmed by the mill.
