Latin America`s crude steel production rises in April
Latin American crude steel production grew year-on-year both in April and in the first four months of 2017, Kallanish learns from data issued by the World Steel Association (worldsteel).
Brazil produced 2.85 million tonnes of crude steel in April, up by 25.9% y-o-y. The country`s cumulative steel production reached 11.14mt in 2017, 14.4% more than the 9.73mt in the same period of 2016.
