Latin American September crude steel output falls

South American and Mexican crude steel production decreased month-on-month in September, according to the World Steel Association data monitored by Kallanish. South American output totalled 3.85 million tonnes during the month, 2.6% less than August but 17% higher year-on-year. Nine-month production amounted to 34.13mt, up by 23.9% y-o-y.
