Latin America’s October crude steel production ticks up

South American and Mexican crude steel production increased month-on-month in October, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. South American output totalled 3.98 million tonnes during the month, 3.4% more over September and 12.2% higher year-on-year. Ten-month production amounted to 38.12mt, up by 22.6% y-o-y.
