Latin American steel production remains low in May

South American and Mexican crude steel production decreased year-on-year in May, according to the latest data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel) monitored by Kallanish. South American crude steel output totalled 2.67 million tonnes in May, or -25.8% down y-o-y.
