Latin American finished steel imports slow in April
Latin American finished steel imports fell slightly while exports rose year-on-year in April, according to data issued by steel producers' association Alacero, monitored by Kallanish.
During April the region imported 2.11 million tonnes of finished products, -0.5% less than the same month of 2018, while January-April imports were up by 3% to 7.95mt.
