Latin American finished steel exports rise in September
Latin American finished steel exports increased year-on-year in September, while imports fell during the period, according to data issued by steel producers' association Alacero, monitored by Kallanish.
In September the region exported almost 718,000 tonnes of finished products, an increase of 22% on-year and 11% higher than in August. During the first nine months, however, these were -6% down y-o-y at 6.80mt.
