Latin American crude steel production rises in June
Latin American crude steel production grew year-on-year in June and in the first half of 2017, Kallanish learns from the latest data issued by the World Steel Association (worldsteel).
Brazilian output totalled 2.64 million tonnes of crude steel in June, up by 4% y-o-y. The country’s cumulative steel production in H1 reached 16.72mt, or 12.4% more than the 14.87mt in H1 2016.
