Latin American crude steel production grows in July
Latin American crude steel production grew year-on-year in July and overall in the first seven months of 2017, Kallanish learns from the World Steel Association (worldsteel).
The region's crude steel cumulative output for the first seven months totalled 24.8 million tonnes or 9% more compared to 22.7mt n the same period of 2016. In July the region produced 3.56mt of crude steel, almost flat on-year but 4.4% higher than June’s output.
