Latin American crude steel output slips in November

South America and Mexico saw crude steel production decrease year-on-year in November. Regional output however remains positive on a cumulative basis in 2018, according to the latest data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel) monitored by Kallanish. South American crude steel output totalled 3.68 million tonnes in October, down by -6.8% y-o-y. During the first eleven months of 2018 crude steel production was 40.92mt or 2.1% more …
