LatAm crude steel output continues to grow
South American and Mexican crude steel production continues to increase year-on-year both monthly and cumulatively in October, according to the latest data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel) monitored by Kallanish.
South American crude steel output totalled 3.95 million tonnes in October, up by 2.4% y-o-y. During the first ten months of 2018 crude steel production was 37.20mt or 2.7% more than in the same period of 2017.
