Latin America steel trade deficit narrows in July
Latin America saw its trade deficit narrow in July, according to steel producers' association Alacero. The deficit was 758,000 tonnes, -22.2% lower over June and 565,000t less on-year, Kallanish notes. Seven-month regional finished steel trade deficit was 7.06 million tonnes, down by -13.8% on-year.
