Turkish scrap prices rise further on new deals
In the most recent scrap import deals concluded by Turkish mills, prices are observed to have risen further.
In an ex-US scrap deal, concluded late on Friday last week, HMS I/II 80:20 was pegged at $258.5/tonne cfr Turkey, $6/t higher on-week. Shredded and bonus grade stood at $263.5/t and $268.5/t respectively in the same deal.
Meanwhile, again on Friday last week, an ex-Baltic scrap booking saw HMS I/II 80:20 pegged at $259/t cfr, approximately $10/t higher…
