LatAm reduces finished steel trade deficit in May

Latin American finished steel imports and exports fell again in May, according to steel producers' association Alacero’s latest data. The regional finished steel trade deficit was 5.34 million tonnes in January-May, narrowing by 10.9% on-year and 1.9% over January-April, Kallanish notes.
