LatAm sees finished steel imports/exports fall in May
Latin American finished steel imports and exports both fell year-on-year in May, according to data issued by steel producers' association Alacero, monitored by Kallanish.
During May the region imported 2.07 million tonnes of finished products, or -8.0% less than the same month of 2018, while January-May imports were almost flat to 10.0mt (+0.1%).
