Latin American November primary iron production rises
Latin American primary iron output increased in November 2020, steel producers' association Alacero says in its latest monthly report monitored by Kallanish. Production includes data from seven countries.
Regional primary iron output reached 3,332,700 tonnes in November, 4.6% more over October and 0.4% more on-year. Of this total, pig iron production represented 83.3% or 2.77 million tonnes, while sponge iron amounted to 556,800t.
