Laiwu city upgrades steel production restrictions
Laiwu city in China’s Shandong province is restricting local steelmakers' production by -60% over 23 December to 10 January 2018 due to severe air pollution, according to the Laiwu Daily. Laiwu city has around 20 million tonnes/year of steel products' manufacturing capacity, Kallanish notes.
