Laigang successfully trials upgraded rolling project

An upgrade project for a medium sections’ rolling line owned by China’s Laiwu Iron & Steel (Laigang) was successfully trialled on 24 June, Kallanish notes. The upgrade project was delivered by technology supplier MCC 17, and the plant now has the capacity to produce 1.1 million tonnes/year of steel sections.
