Absent Asian rebar demand worries Turkish producers
Turkish mills are suffering from lack of high-volume demand in the global market. Although they have been waiting for a couple of months for Asian demand to resume, this is yet to materialise.
Despite continuing weak demand, however, Turkish mills have slightly increased their quotes in export markets this week. Turkish mills’ official quotes have risen mostly to $675-680/tonne fob Turkey actual weight.
